An official Path Through History Site! With a collection of more than 4,500 works of art and artifacts ranging from antiquities to contemporary art, the museum has become one of the most important fine arts institutions in the North Country. In addition to its permanent collection, which includes important works by regional artist Rockwell Kent, the museum strives to bring art into the surrounding area through its educational programs, changing exhibitions, community events, and visiting artists initiative.
