Tucked into the hills just outside Naples, NY, the RMSC Cumming Nature Center is a 900-acre environmental preserve dedicated to conservation, education, and outdoor recreation. This scenic retreat offers a peaceful escape into the Finger Lakes wilderness, inviting visitors to explore forests, meadows, and wetlands all year long.

The center features 6 miles of walking trails, 15 miles of groomed cross-country ski trails, and 3 miles of snowshoe trails, providing something for every season and skill level. Visitors can enjoy seasonal programs and events such as maple sugaring demonstrations, educational workshops, a spirited woodsman competition, and guided walks that showcase the ecology of the region.

Inside the visitor’s center, guests can find restrooms, snacks, and educational exhibits, offering a comfortable base for exploring the grounds.
