Robert H. Treman State Park

Details

An official Path Through History Site! Enfield Glen is the scenic highlight of Robert H. Treman State Park. This is an area of rustic beauty with craggy gorges and winding trails bearing "fire and brimstone" names like 115-foot tall Lucifer Falls and Devil's Kitchen. The park features six trails with spectacular rocky gorges and wooded sections from the strenuous Gorge, Rim, and Red Pine trails to the moderate CCC Memorial and Finger Lakes Trail/North Country trails. The park also preserves an 1839 mill building and nearby mill owner`s house. The rare surviving mill remains largely intact, is open to the public, and interprets the area`s early industrial development. Popular among families for its lifeguarded swim area, the Lower Falls is the most visible of the park’s dozen waterfalls.
