Roeliff Jansen Historical Society Museum



Since its founding in 1974, the Roeliff Jansen Historical Society Museum, and the society itself have been dedicated to the preservation and understanding of the history of the towns of Ancram, Copake, Gallatin, Hillsdale and Taghkanic in Columbia County, NY in the mid-Hudson Valley. Its purposes are to discover, collect, preserve, document, display, and disseminate information and materials and to carry out educational activities relating to the area’s history.
