SOC provides Family Friendly activities daily all Summer from Wild to Chill. Our #1 activity is our guided Whitewater Rafting trips appropriate for ages 5 and up. Let our experienced guides take you down the Sacandaga River to its confluence with the Hudson River. We offer a minimum of 3 trips daily and with guaranteed daily dam releases the rapids are always awesome. Whitewater rafting is one of the best outdoor activities rain or shine for families, and groups. for an even wilder adventure try our guided whitewater kayaking or tubing for ages 12 and older down the same stretch of class 2 and 3 rapids on the Sacandaga River. For a more chill experience our Kayak Shop offers Kayak, Canoe, SUP and some larger unique craft for floating on calm water.  All rentals are available from 2 hour to multi day periods.  SOC is conveniently located at the confluence of the Sacandaga and Hudson Rivers so all guided activities return you to your starting point (no need for multiple bus rides, more time on the water) we have a picnic area for our guests use at our on river take out location conveniently located adjacent to our Kayak Shop.
