At the Soons Orchards Farm Market you'll find a family owned country store chock full of homegrown apples (55 kinds), real apple cider, homegrown and local fruits and vegetables, delicious homemade pies, and lots of special goodies like apple cider donuts, homemade fudge, homemade prepared foods and apple sauce, fresh-ground nut butters, jams and jellies, maple syrup, honey, and more. You'll also find a wonderful fall afternoon outing in New York's Lower Hudson Valley, with apple picking and pumpkin picking (mid-September into October), and hay wagon rides to the pumpkin patch with pumpkins on the actual vine. The pick-your-own-apples and u-pick pumpkins are fun for the whole family.
