Details

Southwick Beach State Park is located on Lake Ontario, where campers and visitors enjoy picnicking, swimming, kayaking, and windsurfing. The park is adjacent to the Lakeview Wildlife Management Area, home to environmentally-sensitive coastal sand dunes. Hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing trails adjoin the wildlife management area and its trail system. During the winter, snowmobilers are permitted in the park. Household pets only, but not allowed in day use/beach areas, and must have proof of current rabies vaccination, certificate of inoculation, or dated collar tag.
