Sensory-Friendly Showings: "Free to Be Me – Matinee Movie Experience"
Spotlight proudly offers a sensory-friendly movie experience for families with children on the autism spectrum or with other sensory sensitivities. On the second Saturday of a new PG or PG-13 release, the theater hosts a Free to Be Me Matinee.
These special showings feature dimmed lights (not full darkness), lower volume, minimal trailers, and a relaxed, judgment-free environment. Kids can dance, sing, pace, or simply enjoy the movie in a way that works for them.
Spotlight also offers closed captioning glasses, cup units, and headphones to enhance accessibility.
