The Olde Tater Barn

A beautiful rustic barn located in upstate New York in the scenic Schoharie Valley, The Olde Tater Barn is the perfect venue for any special event from WEDDINGS to MOTORCOACH GROUP MEALS. Conveniently located 30 minutes from Albany, just off I-88 under an hour from Cooperstown, and 3 hours from NYC and Boston.

It boasts exceptional cuisine in a beautiful, charming, and rustic country atmosphere. Accommodations can be made for an intimate gathering of 30, or a larger affair for up to 220 guests. All setup/tear down, onsite catering, rustic bar, and lodging that sleeps up to 8 located next door is provided.

The barn has the main banquet room with 20’ ceilings, lovely maple flooring from the 1940s, chandeliers, and dimmable lighting along with fans throughout. There is an open-air cocktail reception area with wine barrels and barn lights that make an easy transition from ceremony to cocktail hour. The front deck is furnished with wicker chairs and bistro tables to enjoy the peace and serenity of the countryside.
