An official Path Through History Site! Step back in time to the turn of the century and life on the farm and family homestead. An Agricultural & Country Living Museum featuring farm and home implements, and antiques of all kinds that revolutionized the American way of life. Contains a blacksmith shop, woodworking shop, one room school house, dairy room, general store, winter & fall room, spring & summer room, colonial kitchen parlor, colonial bedroom, and pottery demonstrations. Six video monitors showing life in the 1800. Thirty hand held audio tours that visitors can take a self guided tour through out the museum. Displays on honey making, maple sugar production, tobacco growing and a herb garden with over 40 growing herbs. Model T truck and Model T car on display along with antique tractors, farm equipment, logging saw and a water turbine. Ice harvesting exhibit, logging exhibit, tilling exhibit, Beacon Milling Co. exhibit, Osborne manufacturing exhibit, and many other exhibits on local manufacturing.
