West Meadow Beach

West Meadow Beach in Stony Brook crosses over 1,000 feet of beach on the Long Island Sound and is bordered by marshland which attracts various bird species. Environmental programs that are geared towards marine conservation are offered in the Dr. Erwin J. Ernst Marine Conservation Center, located on the harbor side of the beach. There is a non-resident fee to enter West Meadow Beach.
