Yankee Stadium

An official Path Through History Site! Yankee Stadium, home to the 27-time World Series champion New York Yankees, was built in 2009 across the street from the old stadium. The new stadium has hosted numerous events including the Yankees World Series in 2009, international soccer, college football, and concerts. Yankees Monument Park in the Bronx still serves as an open-air museum containing a collection of monuments, plaques and retired numbers honoring distinguished members of the historic Major League baseball team. The Yankees Museum features memorabilia, life-size statues, and exhibits. A daily Yankee Stadium Tour also features visits to the dugout, clubhouse, and press box.
