Where You Can Explore New York's Rich Heritage

Choose from themes to create your own Path Through History for an experience you and your family will always remember. 

Get ready to explore events across the state focusing on the revolutionary actions of New Yorkers as our nation commemorates the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States in 2026 and learn even more about the people and places that shaped American history during Path Through History Weekend, every June and October.
