Fall Festival and "Mourning at the Manor"

Join us for Sagtikos Manor’s Fall Festival featuring: "Mourning at the Manor". Walk through the Manor house and experience the steps of a Victorian Mourning. Then join our funeral procession to the family cemetery where we honor, Jonathan Thompson, a member of the Thompson family. Afterwards experience an interaction with spirits of past family members in the Thompson-Gardiner Cemetery. On the grounds during the festival there will be crafters: quilters, spinners, bee keeping, tinsmith, sheep shearer. historic cooking demonstrations and musicians. Encamped on the grounds will be the 67th Civil War Regiment. They will perform drills and other routine maneuvers. For the children there are crafts, pumpkin painting, puppet show, games and a costume dress-up area. Food and shopping vendors available. Adults $12, Seniors $10, children $6 (6-14), Under 5 Free.
