Arkell Museum at Canajoharie

The Arkell Museum is celebrated for its collection of American paintings by Winslow Homer, George Inness, Childe Hassam, John Singer Sargent, Thomas Eakins and more. Exhibit themes also include the Mohawk River Valley and the Beech-Nut Company, whose founder Bartlett Arkell established the Canajoharie Library and Art Gallery (now Arkell Museum) in the 1920s. Summer Hours for the Museum & Library: Tuesday-Friday 10 am – 5 pm; Saturday-Sunday 12-5 pm, the Museum is closed January-February. A Path Through History attraction.
