An official Path Through History Site! The Buffalo Museum of Science has more than 700,000 specimens representing the natural world with an emphasis on Western NY, as well as man-made objects spanning the globe. The Museum at 1020 Humboldt Parkway anchors Buffalo's East Side in Olmsted-designed Martin Luther King, Jr. Park. The Museum also operates Tifft Nature Preserve in South Buffalo, a 264-acre wetland preserve on reclaimed industrial land and sponsors archaeological exploration at the Hiscock Site in Genesee County, NY, one of North America's richest Ice Age sites.
