Mirbeau Inn & Spa Sweepstakes Rules

  1. The entrant hereby consents to the release and disclosure by the New York State Department of Economic Development (the “Department”) of any and all information provided in the entry form. Information collected in connection with this sweepstakes, including email addresses, may be used for the Department’s tourism-related mailings regarding vacationing in New York State and shall not be resold to third parties for any other use whatsoever.

  2. Employees and their immediate families of the New York State Department of Economic Development, and the New York State Urban Development Corporation d/b/a Empire State Development (“ESD”), and Mirbeau Inn & Spa are not eligible to enter such sweepstakes.  Immediate family shall be defined as spouse and children.  

  3. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. 

  4. Open to legal residents of the continental United States. 

  5. In order to obtain entry into the sweepstakes, Participants must 1) follow @iloveny and @mirbeaurhinebeck, @mirbeauskaneateles, @mirbeaubeacon, and @spamirbeaualbany on Instagram; 2) “like” the specified contest post made by @iloveny on Instagram (this post will be made at the start of the sweepstakes entry period and will feature photos of Mirbeau Inn & Spa); 3) make a comment on the specified contest post made by @iloveny on Instagram, @tagging one other account on Instagram, and 4) navigate to a webpage at https://www.iloveny.com/mirbeau-inn-spa-sweepstakes/, fill in the required contact information, and click submit. 

  6. Sweepstakes prizes listed are subject to availability.

  7. Only one entry per person for the duration of the promotion is permissible. Valid contest entries must contain all information requested. Incomplete entries will be disqualified. “Tagged” accounts may only enter the contest by adhering to requirements specified in paragraph 5 above.

  8. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older to participate.

  9. Winning entrants will be randomly selected by drawing at a time and location to be determined by the Department. Odds of winning this sweepstakes will be determined based on the overall number of entries. Entrants need not be present to win. The Department shall make two attempts to contact winning entrants. In the event that a winning entrant does not respond after a second attempt, the Department may select an alternate winner. All decisions of Department personnel regarding the picking of the winners shall be final.  Winners will be contacted by email and/or phone by a representative from Mirbeau Inn & Spa.

  10. There will be 4 (four) winning entrants. The winning entrants will receive 1 (one) $350 Mirbeau Gift Card plus 1 (one) $50 Gift Voucher. The gift card and gift voucher are redeemable for any service or product at any Mirbeau Inn & Spa, including Mirbeau Inn & Spa Skaneateles, Spa Mirbeau Albany, Mirbeau Inn & Spa Rhinebeck, Mirbeau Inn & Spa Plymouth, and Mirbeau Inn & Spa Beacon (opening Spring 2026). Gift Cards have no expiration date. Gift Vouchers are valid starting 1/1/2026 and must be redeemed by 12/31/2026. The total value of the prize is $1,600.

  11. Mirbeau Gift Cards and $50 Holiday Vouchers can be used at any Mirbeau Inn & Spa location toward rooms, spa, dining, or in-store boutique purchases. Mirbeau Gift Cards do not expire; however, 2026 Holiday $50 Vouchers do expire and are only valid 1/1/2026-12/31/2026. To use your gift card(s) toward your room booking, you may call our Reservations Department at 877-MIRBEAU to redeem your gift card over the phone, OR physically present your gift card to the Front Desk at check-in/check-out. To use your gift card(s) toward spa services, dining, or in-store boutique purchases, they must be physically presented to the Front Desk, Spa Desk, or Restaurant in order to redeem them. To use your $50 Voucher(s) toward any purchases, they must be physically presented to the Front Desk, Spa Desk, or Restaurant in order to redeem them. 

  12. No changes or substitutions to the prize are allowed.  The Department may substitute components in prize packs for items of similar value based on availability at its discretion. All prizes are final. 

  13. The New York State Department of Economic Development or their agents are not responsible for late, lost, or misdirected entries or for miscommunications, misdirected transmissions, or other errors of any kind whether human, mechanical or electronic.

  14. This sweepstakes is void wherever restricted or prohibited by state or local laws.

  15. By entering, participants release and hold harmless the State of New York, New York State Urban Development Corporation d/b/a Empire State Development  and the Department of Economic Development, agencies employed by the Department, as well as any directors, officers or employees of these organizations from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the contest. 

  16. If for any reason the sweepstakes is not capable of being conducted as planned, including any causes beyond the control of the administrators of the sweepstakes, the New York State Department of Economic Development reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, modify, suspend or terminate the sweepstakes without notice to the entrants.

  17. Entry into the sweepstakes does not create any vested right or interest for the participants in the prizes offered for the sweepstakes.

  18. This giveaway is not sponsored in any way by Instagram or Meta. Neither Instagram nor Meta are responsible for the rules or promotions of this sweepstakes.
