Holidays in New York

New York State celebrates holidays all year round, from St. Patrick's Day parades, Easter egg hunts, and Fourth of July fireworks to haunting Halloween events and the famous Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade! 

Of course, it's well-known for its end-of-the-year cheer with attractions like the world-famous Rockefeller Center tree and jolly events at the North Pole in the Adirondacks. Across the state, you can find Charles Dickens festivals in the Finger Lakes and Long Island, rides on the Polar Express in the Catskills and Greater Niagara, winter villages with ice skating and shopping from Rochester to Bryant Park, glowing wonderlands at colorful light festivals, and plenty of opportunities to meet the big man himself (and even some of his reindeer!).
