Ticonderoga TreasuresNew Curator-Led Collections Tour, Musical Program, and Archaeological Experience Join Returning Favorites During America’s 250th Commemoration Season

Ticonderoga, N.Y. - Fort Ticonderoga has announced an expanded lineup of premium behind-the-scenes, after-hours, and curator-led programs for the summer of 2026 — offering visitors rare access to original collections, historic landscapes, and expert-guided experiences unavailable through general admission. Three new programs join four returning favorites as Fort Ticonderoga leads the nation as a premier destination for America’s 250th commemoration.

Among the new offerings, “Ticonderoga’s Treasures of 1776” stands out as a rare opportunity for intimate access to original artifacts from the opening campaigns of the Revolutionary War. Led by Fort Ticonderoga Curator Dr. Matthew Keagle, this exclusive tour brings to life the dramatic events and personalities of 1776 through the documents and objects that witnessed history firsthand — including those connected to Benedict Arnold, Horatio Gates, and Anthony Wayne.

“Our premium programs offer something no standard visit can — direct access to original objects, living history, and the expertise of our curatorial team,” said Beth L. Hill, Fort Ticonderoga President and CEO. “At a moment when the whole country is reflecting on its founding, there is no better place to explore that story than here, with the actual artifacts and landscapes that shaped it.”
