Americana Corner grant allows Fort Ticonderoga to tell signature 250th stories
Ticonderoga, N.Y. - Fort Ticonderoga is thrilled to announce a five-year expansion of our weapons demonstrations and signature living history events through the Guns for Ticonderoga project funded by Americana Corner.
Thanks to the generous support of Americana Corner, Fort Ticonderoga has embarked on recreating two complete American artillery pieces with cannon, carriages, inert reproduction ammunition, and the implements Continental Army artillerymen employed with these guns.

Gloversville, NY - The Fulton County Historical Society kicks off its popular Cabin Fever Virtual Discussion series on January 29th at 7pm with the Arkell Museum and Canajoharie Library. Arkell Curator of Education and Public Engagement, Mary Alexander, will discuss the Sullivan Clinton Campaign of the Revolutionary War and its Celebration in Canajoharie in 1929. The talk asks the question what is historical memory and when can we challenge the narrative of the past to present a more accurate history today.
