Pet FestGlens Falls, N.Y. – Pet Fest, the annual celebration of our furry, feathered and scaly companions, returns to Downtown Glens Falls on Sunday, May 17, 2026 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in City Park.

Pet Fest is hosted by the Glens Falls Collaborative, a membership organization whose mission is to work together to promote Glens Falls, with support from the Glens Falls Business Improvement District, the City of Glens Falls, Advokate, and Downtown Dogs Spa & Boutique, located on South Street in Glens Falls! Additional Sponsors include Walker’s Farm Home & Tack, Great Meadow FCU, Benson’s Pet Center, North Country Paws for Obedience, VCA Adirondack Animal Hospital, Lower Adirondack Pride, and Garvey Auto Group.

The public is invited to bring their well-behaved, properly leashed pets to this pet-friendly event. Pet owners will be able to interact with different community partners that specialize in helping and educating pet owners & our community.

The event will feature food vendors, interactive demonstrations from North Country Paws for Obedience, and a lure course hosted by Alpha Dog. This activity gives dogs the chance to run a guided course that taps into their natural instincts—all at no cost to participants, thanks to support from Walker’s Farm Home & Tack.

Guests can also browse vendors offering pet products, services, and take part in crowd-favorite contests like “Dogs Got Talent,” an owner-and-pet look-alike contest, and a pet costume contest.

The Glens Falls Collaborative & partners aim to make this year’s Pet Fest the biggest yet, creating a welcoming, high-energy atmosphere for the community and expecting more than 400 attendees to join in the fun.
