Binghamton University Art ExhibitionBinghamton, N.Y. – Binghamton University’s Kaschak Institute for Social Justice for Women and Girls will be hosting its annual International Women’s Day Art Exhibit from 5 p.m.- 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17, at Binghamton University’s Mandela Room, located in the University Union. The event is free and open to the public.  

This year's exhibit is centered on “Women’s Rights Through the Decades,” and will feature all modes of art forms, including visual arts, writing, performing arts, graphic design and cinema. The exhibition will feature a wide variety of art from students, faculty and staff from both Binghamton University and SUNY Broome. 

The winning pieces will be announced at the event and are determined by an anonymous panel of judges that includes faculty and staff from both Binghamton University and SUNY Broome. In addition, a People’s Choice award will be given to one selected winner.  Winning submissions will receive $250. All artwork submitted to the event will be on display alongside the winning pieces for guests to view. Food and drink will be available throughout the event, as well.

The Art Exhibit is hosted by the Kaschak Institute in collaboration with Binghamton University’s Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and SUNY Broome.
