Ticonderoga, NY (August 31st, 2026) – Fall is officially on the horizon, and the Downtown Ticonderoga is getting ready to celebrate! The 9th Annual Ticonderoga Area FallFest will take place on Saturday, September 26th, bringing an afternoon and evening of fall fun to Percy Thompson Bicentennial Park.

New York, N.Y. (August 31, 2026) – The Public Theater (Artistic Director, Oskar Eustis; Executive Director, Patrick Willingham) begins free performances of Public Works’ PUBLIC RECORD at The Delacorte Theater in Central Park on Friday, September 4 for a limited engagement running through Tuesday, September 8. Featuring a cast of more than 130, PUBLIC RECORD brings New Yorkers from all five boroughs together through music, dance, and storytelling.

Rochester, NY (August 30, 2026) — The Memorial Art Gallery of the University of Rochester (MAG) is pleased to announce the award winners from the 2026 M&T Bank Clothesline Art & Fine Craft Festival. The annual festival took place Saturday, August 29, and Sunday, August 30, bringing nearly 400 regional artists and thousands of visitors together to celebrate art, creativity, and community.

Farmingdale, NY- Adventureland, offering family fun for everyone since 1962, has announced it will hold its very first ever Back to School Bash event on Friday, September 4th from 3-10pm. This fun event is a great way to start off the new school year. Howes Cave, NY – Birds, butterflies, and botany!  9/19/2026 is ALL about NATURE here at the Museum!  Plant ecologist Sue Beatty will conduct guided trail walks throughout the day.  Akwesasne Mohawk herbalist Alicia Cook will give a presentation on plants and their interconnectedness to Haudenosaunee culture, and offer her Canoe Women Herbs products for purchase.  This event will also include Wildlife rehabilitator Kelly Martin with her birds of prey, storytelling by Mandy Tarbell, and a scavenger hunt with prizes.  Included in Museum admission.

Saratoga Springs, NY (August 31, 2026) – In partnership with Caffè Lena, Saratoga Performing Arts Center announces that the popular “Caffè Lena @ SPAC” festival will return for a free day-long concert on Saturday, October 3 from noon to 5:30 p.m. Taking place on SPAC’s Charles R. Wood Stage, the festival will feature five acts that explore bluegrass, jazz, soul, R&B, pop, and indie-folk music including Vanessa Collie, Addison Agen, Alla Boara, The Cody Sisters, and  Bad Penny Pleasuremakers. The festival highlights a unique, ongoing collaboration between the arts center and the folk music venue.
