Cape Vincent, N.Y. – August brings a variety of musical styles to the Concerts on the Green stage in Cape Vincent. Presented by the Cape Vincent Arts Council, the free concerts take place Saturdays from 4:00-5:30 pm on the Cape Vincent Village Green, 357 Broadway St. along the St. Lawrence River, within walking distance of shops and cafes. (Rain location is the Cape Vincent Fire Hall, 241 Broadway St.)
Audience members should bring a lawn chair or blanket. Donations are welcome and will help support CVAC's free downtown music events. For more information, visit capevincentartscouncil.org or their Facebook page.
The August Concerts on the Green, all of which begin at 4:00 p.m., include:
August 1 - Tas Cru Band, soulful blues and Americana from Chaumont's own international touring musician and his band of seasoned players.
August 8 – KEX, popular Watertown band playing an upbeat mix of rock, jazz, and pop in the style of Chicago. August 15 - Knotty Paddy, high-energy Celtic rock band from the Adirondacks.
The Cape Vincent Arts Council (CVAC) is dedicated to increasing opportunities for the public to enjoy and participate in cultural activities in and around Cape Vincent. Among the events it sponsors are the Concerts on the Green series, Riverside Music Festival (July 25), Stroll on Broadway (August 29), summer art classes, artist and author presentations, and its premiere event, the Thousand Islands International Piano Competition for Young People (September 11-13, 2026).
