George Eastman Museum logoThe outdoor concert series will be held on June 12, July 24, and August 21

Rochester, N.Y. (June 6, 2024) —The George Eastman Museum is thrilled to announce the much-anticipated return of the Garden Vibes Concert Series this summer. Set against the picturesque backdrop of the Museum's Schulyer C. Townson Terrace Garden and the historic mansion, music lovers can mark their calendars for three Wednesday evenings on June 12, July, 24, and August 21. Garden Vibes, celebrating its 30th year, will host the outdoor concerts on June 14, July 19, and August 16 on the East Lawn, located on the east side of the mansion next to the Schuyler C. Townson Terrace Garden.

Concertgoers may bring a picnic or purchase food on-site from Open Face, as well as local food trucks. All three concerts are from 6 to 8 p.m., with gates opening at 5 p.m. Tickets are $12 general admission, $10 museum members, and free to children ages 12 and under with paid adult admission. Tickets may be purchased at the door on the day of the event. No refunds; no rain dates.

Garden Vibes 2024 lineup

June 12                SingTrece & Stone Cold Miracle
SingTrece & Stone Cold Miracle, hailing from Ithaca, combines elements of soul, funk, rock, and reggae. Front woman SingTrece's powerful vocals are matched by her outsized personality on stage. Behind her, the band is a surging, raw blast of soul energy with an urgent rock edge. The group was formed in 2014 and has opened for iconic hip-hop band The Roots. They have recently performed at the 2023 GrassRoots Festival in Trumansburg, N.Y., and closed out the Ithaca Festival of the Arts.

July 24                   Fareed Haque

Fareen Haque is a modern guitar virtuoso. Steeped in classical and jazz traditions, his unique command of the guitar and different musical styles inspire his musical ventures with tradition and fearless innnovation. Born in Chicago to Pakistani and Chilean parents, Haque has toured with iconic artists such as Sting, and was named 'Best World Guitarist' in 2009. That year, his acclaimed release Flat Planet was twice No. 1 on the World Jazz Radio charts.

August 21              Televisionaries

Televisionaries are a rock 'n' roll quartet from Rochester, N.Y. The band brings their pop-sensible blend of 50s and 60s surf rock 'n' roll to audiences. Televisionaries has performed locally and have recently toured in Canada and Spain. If you love NRBQ, The Beatles, The Kinks, and Nick Lowe & Los Straightjackets, then Televisionaries is the band for you.
