Each dove is hand painted by a talented local artist who is encouraged to use a 1969 color palette and draw inspiration from the works of artist Peter Max to commemorate the historic festival.
This initiative not only celebrates the anniversary of the legendary music festival, but also raises awareness of the rich history of the Sullivan Catskills, investing in tourism to our beautiful corner of New York State.
