Right Turn BandCape Vincent, N.Y. - Classic rock from the Right Turn Band will kick off the Cape Vincent Arts Council’s Concerts on the Green series on Saturday, June 27 from 4:00-5:30 p.m. The series of free concerts takes place on the Cape Vincent Village Green, 357 Broadway St. along the St. Lawrence River, within walking distance of shops and cafes in downtown Cape Vincent. (Rain location is the Cape Vincent Fire Hall, 241 Broadway St.)

The Right Turn Band is a three-piece classic-rock power trio featuring Rick Bergman (lead guitar/vocals), Gary Pittman (drums/vocals), and Kevin Magovney (bass/vocals). Hailing from Central New York, they have been entertaining audiences for 18 years with a hard-driving repertoire of classic songs from the late ‘60s to the ‘90s.

 This year's Concerts on the Green, all of which begin at 4:00 p.m., will also include:

July 4 - Nuthin Fancy, returning from Rochester with their unique take on songs both popular and forgotten from multiple rock-n-roll genres.

July 18 - Foolish Pride, rock/jam band from Potsdam playing an eclectic blend of covers from the Allman Brothers to Zeppelin.

August 1 - Tas Cru Band, soulful blues and Americana from Chaumont's own international touring musician and his band of seasoned players.

August 8 – KEX, popular Watertown band playing an upbeat mix of rock, jazz, and pop in the style of Chicago.

August 15 - Knotty Paddy, high-energy Celtic rock band from the Adirondacks.

The Cape Vincent Arts Council (CVAC) is dedicated to increasing opportunities for the public to enjoy and participate in cultural activities in and around Cape Vincent. Among the events it sponsors are the Concerts on the Green series, Riverside Music Festival (July 25), Stroll on Broadway (August 29), summer art classes, artist and author presentations, and its premiere event, the Thousand Islands International Piano Competition for Young People (September 11-13, 2026).
