Cape Vincent, N.Y. – A day of live music and art along the St. Lawrence River will take place Saturday, July 26 as the Cape Vincent Arts Council hosts the fourth annual Riverside Music & Arts Festival. The free event takes place from 10:00-7:00 on the Cape Vincent Village Green, 357 Broadway Street, in downtown Cape Vincent, featuring a variety of musicians and artists displaying their talents throughout the day.
Visitors are invited to bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy a day of great music and art in picturesque Cape Vincent. Local eateries and shops directly across from the Village Green will be open during the festival.
The event will be headlined by Ithaca-based singer-songwriter Ariel Arbisser. With over 2 million global streams, Arbisser is defining her own path in pop: creating music that’s modern but nostalgic, dramatic but reflective, with a sound reminiscent of Sara Bareilles, Adele, Alice Russell, and Laura Nyro. The result is songs of authenticity, intimately intertwined in the depth of human emotion. With her band, she brings an emotional heat to what she calls dramatic electro pop with disco elements. Her latest album, Ingenue Corrupt, has been called “divine,” “much awaited,” and “leaving audiences eager to delve deeper” into her work.
The lineup of musical performers will also include the following:
- Emma Bee
- Brittany Cean
- Jake Desormo
- Cait Devin
- Chasing Skyward Lights
The Cape Vincent Arts Council is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization consisting entirely of volunteers. It is dedicated to providing opportunities for the public to enjoy and participate in cultural activities in and around Cape Vincent. Among the events it sponsors are the Concerts on the Green series, summer art classes for children and adults, the Stroll on Broadway, the Northern NY Riverside Music & Arts Festival, and the Thousand Islands International Piano Competition for Young People (Sept. 5-7, 2025).
