Sullivan County, NY (August 13, 2024) - As the summer sun reaches its peak, the Sullivan Catskills Visitors Association is excited to announce a vibrant lineup of events for the week of August 13th-19th 2024. This action-packed week promises to deliver an eclectic mix of cultural experiences, outdoor activities, and community celebrations that highlight the Sullivan Catskills’ unique charm and natural beauty
Event Highlights This Week:
- Wednesday, August 14th: Lego Club at the Livingston Manor Library
- Thursday, August 15th:
- WJFF in association with DVAA (Delaware Valley Arts Alliance) and Growing Older Together presents Your Sound Legacy: A Free Planned Giving Event
- HPAC Kids’ Film Series presents ‘Wonka’ at 10am
- Wurtsboro Board of Trade’s Music in the Park with Far Beyond Gone
- Bethel Lakeside Music’s Thursday Summer Concert Series at Lakeside Park
- Friday, August 16th:
- Lynyrd Skynyrd performs at Bethel Woods Center of the Arts
- The Outside Institute hosts their Flora, Fungi and Foraging Walk
- Saturday, August 17th:
- The Parksville B’Kawk at Parksville’s Main Street
- Bethel Historical Marker Dedication at 2pm at Gazebo Park in Kauneonga Lake
- The Smoke Joint’s Riverside Sessions with Local Honey
- Sunday, August 18th:
- Roscoe Beer Co’s 10th Annual Summerfest
- Great Night of Music at the Backyard Park in Jeffersonville
- Motorcycle Show at Goldschein’s Homestead

- Yasgur Road Reunion from Thursday, August 15th – Sunday, August 18th at Yasgur Road Campground in Bethel.
- DVAA Exhibits: "Selective Belongings" and "Landforms and Bodyscapes" until September 15th
- The Grahamsville Little World's Fair is officially here from Friday-Sunday August 16th-18th.
- Sullivan County Dramatic Workshop presents "The Wizard of Oz," from Friday- Sunday, August 16th-18th.
- The Farm Arts Collective hosts their Dream on the Farm #5 “Conference for Those Still Living” until August 18th.
- Forestburgh Playhouse Productions of "Rock of Ages” opens until August 25th and "Willy Wonka" for younger audiences until August 17th.
