Staatsburg, N.Y.  (06/03/26) - Bring your creativity and enjoy a relaxed afternoon crafting in a beautiful historic setting at Staatsburgh State Historic Site on Sunday, June 14th at 2:00pm. Quilling is the art of creating designs using rolled, shaped, and glued paper. This popular two-hour workshop is led by returning instructor Grace Burns and is perfect for all skill levels. Light refreshments will be served. All materials, tools, and instruction are included. This workshop is appropriate for teens and adults. Staatsburgh State Historic Site is open for guided mansion tours by reservation, Thursdays through Sundays. Visitors may also enjoy a picnic or stroll by the Hudson River, or a hike along the woodland trails in adjacent Mills Memorial State Park.

Staatsburgh’s 79-room mansion overlooking the Hudson River is in the hamlet of Staatsburg, between Hyde Park and Rhinebeck. A time capsule of the Gilded Age, Staatsburgh retains its original furnishings and opulent décor. The historic estate grounds surrounding the mansion, now Ogden Mills & Ruth Livingston Mills Memorial State Park, offer scenic walking paths as well as woodland trails.

Staatsburgh State Historic Site and the Ogden Mills & Ruth Livingston Mills Memorial State Park are located on Old Post Road in Staatsburg, off Route 9 between Rhinebeck and Hyde Park.
