15th Annual Big Eddy Film Festival Announces Full Schedule

Narrowsburg, N.Y. - Delaware Valley Arts Alliance (DVAA)’s Big Eddy Film Festival is a cinephile’s dream nestled in the heart of New York’s Sullivan Catskills. This year’s theme is ‘Stories From The Other Side’ and the schedule is a cinematic feast, taking in everything from Oscar-tipped narrative features to locally produced documentaries, several robust short film programs, an acting workshop with playwright and film director, Neil LaBute, and several of the festival’s legendary parties.

Reflecting on 15 years of the Big Eddy Film Festival, DVAA’s Executive Director, Ariel Shanberg notes,

“Our commitment to crafting an immersive festival that sparks new cultural possibilities at the juncture of film, art, and rural imagination has never been greater. This year’s programming reflects both deep-rooted traditions we’ve forged over the years along with exciting new possibilities and connections that will offer festival attendees a truly unforgettable cinematic experience here in Narrowsburg.”

An evening dedicated to short films lifting up the stories of caregivers and rural healthcare, followed by a community conversation lead by Chris Dickey, NYU School of Global Health, Sullivan Health Access, Inc.
