More Than 200 Events Listed on I LOVE NY's America 250 Calendar

Governor Kathy Hochul today highlighted events happening across New York State to commemorate America's 250th birthday, encouraging residents and visitors alike to explore the state's diverse attractions and regions. More than 200 immersive activities and exhibitions are planned across the state, from tall ships converging on New York City and authentic Revolutionary War reenactments, to exhibits presenting the Black and Indigenous perspective on the Revolution and the continued efforts for equal rights. Dumbo Day PassBrooklyn, NY (June 4, 2026)  — Today, Team Dumbo announced the launch of the “Dumbo Day Pass + Sweepstakes,” a neighborhood-wide initiative designed to encourage visitors attending the Adidas FIFA World Cup Fan Zone at Emily Warren Roebling Plaza in Brooklyn Bridge Park to explore and support Dumbo’s thriving ecosystem of small businesses, restaurants, galleries, and shops.

The Dumbo Day Pass program, running from June 11 through July 19, combines tourism management, local discovery, and digital innovation.

Carried by Revolutionary War soldier Benjamin Warner and handed down to his descendants, the knapsack has survived with a call to future generations to defend America’s hard-won liberty against all threats.

New co-creation studio and education space MoMI LAB to open June 13

Astoria, New York, June 3, 2026 — This June, Museum of the Moving Image invites soccer fans to World Cup–related events, including a free family day and live watch parties in the Redstone Theater. The museum also celebrates Pride Month and Juneteenth; and launches the screening series De Palma: Summer of Suspense, featuring thirteen films directed by Brian De Palma, and Culture Wars!, programmed in conjunction with Isaac Butler’s new book The Perfect Moment: God, Sex, Art, and the Birth of America’s Culture Wars (Bloomsbury Publishing). In addition, the Museum will open MoMI LAB, its new co-creation lab and education space focused on emerging technologies, on June 13, along with the screening and event series Get Off the Internet.

Glens Falls, NY — The Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall, a three-fifths scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., will be coming to Glens Falls in August 2026. This powerful tribute honors the more than 58,000 men and women who lost their lives in service during the Vietnam War, and provides an opportunity for remembrance, education, and healing.
