Corning, NY — Don’t let the kids have all the fun! This year, during The Days of Incandescence (which runs 10/24-10/26), adults are encouraged to put on their favorite costumes (bonus points if you dress in the 1880s theme of the event), grab a few of your closest friends, and head to Corning’s Gaffer District for a chance to taste local craft brews, spirits and wine. With a dozen different stops, a commemorative drinking vessel, and actors dressed as Corning residents from 1880 sharing bits of history, Archibald’s Libations Crawl on Friday October 25th is fun adult-friendly lead-in to an epic weekend of fun.
Not that you need an excuse to dress in costume, but the crawl also provides a great reason to get decked out and embrace the spirit of Halloween. This year a few lucky costumed attendees might even win some spending money, as a handful of prizes will be awarded.
Archibald’s Libations Crawl is a ticketed 1880s themed libations crawl that happens each year during The Days of Incandescence with 12 different stops in Corning’s Historic Gaffer District, where you can enjoy locally-crafted brews, wine, mead, and spirits. There will also be costumed actors throughout the crawl, as well as live music by Annie Old Thyme during check-in between 5pm-7pm in Centerway Square as you pick up your wristbands and tasting glass.

**Designated Drivers are welcome to join free of charge and will not require a ticket or receive a wristband and glass.
