Damn Yankees at Woodstock PlayhouseJune 22nd thru July 1

7:30 Friday/Saturday; 2:00 Sunday Matinee

Woodstock, N.Y. – From the stage that looks like a baseball stadium complete with the diamond painted on the stage floor, the anthem ‘You Gotta Have Heart’ rings out in a chorus of male voices announcing that the homerun hit of the season, DAMN YANKEES, opens the Summer Season of rising professional theatre at the Woodstock Playhouse.

A Broadway mega-hit and winner of seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical, hits it out of the park for you this season under the stage direction of Randy Conti and music direction of Bobby Tomasulo. The winning music & lyrics by Richard Adler and Jerry Ross and a devilish book by George Abbot make this sporty musical comedy a true American classic.
