Bethel, NY (August 01, 2018) – Today The Museum at Bethel Woods, located at the National Register Historic Site of the 1969 Woodstock Music & Art Fair in Bethel, NY launched an online archive of Woodstock photography and video from its collection; making rare archival images available to the public for the first time on the eve of the festival’s 49th Anniversary.

Waterwheel - Hanford Mills MuseumJuly 28 program offers free admission and special activities for families  

East Meredith, N.Y. – Waterwheels big and small will be featured at Free Family Saturday on July 28 at Hanford Mills Museum. Visitors can tour the historic water-powered mill and see how the 1926 Fitz overshot waterwheel is used to operate the historic sawmill, gristmill, and woodworking machines.

Bethel, N.Y. (July 18, 2018) –  The Museum at Bethel Woods will be hosting a new sculpture exhibit of works by artist Glenn Zweygardt on view July 19th through October 31st. The exhibit titled Set in Stone: The Sculpture of Glenn Zweygardt, will be the most recent iteration of an annual series showcasing exemplary sculpture on the beautiful grounds at Bethel Woods. Zweygardt’s work has previously been featured, and one statue, "Oval Keeper," which has been at the museum since 2017, will remain on view along with the three new works arriving this month.

Bethel, N.Y.  For the fifth year, The Museum at Bethel Woods will again take part in Blue Star Museums, a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense and more than 2,000 museums across America to offer free admission to the nation’s active duty military personnel and their families from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The program provides families an opportunity to enjoy the nation's cultural heritage and learn more about their community, especially after a military move. East Meredith, N.Y. – On May 26, Hanford Mills Museum will hold the first in a series of Free Family Saturdays, which offer special programming for families as well as admission discounts. Visitors can take a kid-friendly guided tour of the historic water-powered sawmill, gristmill and woodworking shop. Tours highlight how the Mill owners and workers adapted to changes in technology.  …

Guided tours are offered Wednesdays through Sundays and feature demonstrations in the water-powered sawmill, gristmill, and woodworking shop. In addition to the operating the 1926 Fitz overshot waterwheel and water turbines, on select days, the Museum operates its wood-fired steam boiler and steam engines.

Bethel, NY (May 1, 2018) –  The Museum at Bethel Woods will host A Night At The Museum, inviting families to enjoy an overnight experience in the immersive exhibit that brings to life the sights, sounds, and experiences of the 1960s.

On Friday, May 11, children – ages 6 through 13 accompanied by an adult – can explore The Museum’s main exhibit, hear the sounds of the infamous Woodstock festival, catch a screening of the musical film Sing, gather around the beanbags for story time, and then fall asleep under a groovy museum sky.

Pine Ridge Dude RanchKerhonkson, N.Y. —One of the Catskills' last-standing, iconic resorts has just reopened after undergoing a $1 million renovation and adding 25 horses to its herd.

Hundreds of guests—many from the Tri-State area--returned on April 2 for their yearly pilgrimage to Pine Ridge Dude Ranch, formerly known as Pinegrove Ranch and Family Resort.
