Twilight TourSaratoga Springs, NY – On Sunday, September 22 at 10:30AM , join Madison C. Squires for the Autumn Sunday Stroll, “Mail Order Houses of Saratoga”. This stroll features houses on East and Pinewood avenues and the surrounding neighborhoods. Squires will highlight the “Kit House” era – a time when the average person could not only put a check through the mail, but order and receive an entire house as well. This tour meets at the Northwest corner of Lake and East avenues.

On Sunday, September 29 at 10:30AM, join Sydney Hedge, Preservation & Programs Coordinator and  explore the area surrounding the Saratoga Race Course! This walking tour highlights the history of the Reading Rooms, National Museum of Racing & Hall of Fame, Oklahoma Training Track, and the Fasig-Tipton Humphrey S. Finney Sales Pavilion. This tour meets at the southeast corner of Nelson and Union avenues.

All Sunday morning tours last approximately 90 minutes and require walking and standing on varied terrain. Tours will be limited to thirty and tickets must be purchased in advance.  The cost per tour is $15 for SSPF members and $20 for non-members. 

Join the Foundation and Gloria May for a special program, “Madness, Murder, Untimely Deaths and Strange Coincidences,” on Tuesday, October 22nd at 5:00PM, to get in the spooky Halloween spirit by exploring Greenridge Cemetery at dusk while unearthing tales of Saratoga’s most notable residents.. Tickets are $25 for SSPF Members and $30 for non-members and space is limited to forty. Complimentary stroll passes can’t be used for this special program. This tour meets at the Sackett Gates entrance on Lincoln Avenue.
