Bearsville TheaterFeaturing Performances by Grahame Lesh & Daniel Donato, Hurray for the Riff Raff, Swamp Dog, Deer Tick, Gang of Four, Patty Griffin, The Garcia Project, Pink Talking Fish

Woodstock, N.Y. — Bearsville Theater is turning up the heat this summer with a season built for dancing, discovery, and deep cuts. Grahame Lesh & Daniel Donato kick off the season with a special three-night run. (6/11–6/13) Two of jam music's most inventive voices, together for the first and only time. Hurray for the Riff Raff (6/17) brings their genre-defying Americana and urgent lyricism, with Free Range opening the night. Swamp Dogg (6/18) follows with his one-of-a-kind soul and funk, and Deer Tick (6/23) delivers their signature mix of heartbreak and rowdy rock. Gang of Four with Downtown Boys (6/25) closes out the month with post-punk intensity and political fire. July opens with Patty Griffin (7/10), whose powerful songwriting and luminous voice make her one of Americana's most treasured performers. August kicks off with The Garcia Project (8/1), a joyful birthday celebration of Jerry Garcia and the Grateful Dead. And on August 22, Pink Talking Fish brings the summer to a close with their electrifying mashup of three legendary rock bands.

Bearsville Theater — The Bearsville Theater sits in the legendary Bearsville Center located in Woodstock, N.Y., a historic creative hub once home to artists who helped shape American music. Today, the venue blends rich musical heritage with modern intimacy, featuring an exceptional-sounding concert hall and a welcoming lounge space that hosts live music, film screenings, dance parties, and community events. The theater offers extraordinary acoustics, clear sightlines, and a rare closeness between artists and audience, creating shows that feel personal and immersive. The Lounge includes a full bar, couches and tables, and offers its own uniquely intimate show experience.

Bearsville Center — A 15-acre enclave in Woodstock, has served as a touchstone in music history since the 1960s, when then-owner and leading artist manager/entrepreneur Albert Grossman welcomed musical luminaries—including longtime client Bob Dylan—to his Catskills home for creative inspiration. With the construction of Bearsville Studios in 1969, major artists, including Patti Smith, The Rolling Stones, REM, Muddy Waters, Todd Rundgren, Rush, and The Pretenders, recorded at Bearsville until the studio’s closing in the early 2000s. The renowned performance space, Bearsville Theater, which opened in 1989, was constructed from an 18th-century ‘Dutch’ barn and designed by John Storyk, creator of Electric Lady Studios for Jimi Hendrix. Today, the property named Bearsville Center comprises the Bearsville Theater, Tinker Street Tavern, Pho Tibet, The Bear Cantina, residences, and the Utopia Sound Stage, a live Recording Studio, designed in 1979 as an innovative video studio for Todd Rundgren.
