About Awesome Paws Rescue
Awesome Paws Rescue is a volunteer-run, no-kill, 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs from overcrowded and high-risk shelters—primarily in the southern U.S.—as well as helping local dogs in need. With no government funding, we rely entirely on donations to cover the care, medical needs, and transportation of our animals. All of our dogs are placed in loving foster homes in the Buffalo area, where they can adjust to home life, receive individual attention, and rediscover what it means to be safe and loved. Our passionate volunteers and foster families are the heart of our mission, providing the vital bridge from a dog’s past to their forever home, and we always welcome new supporters looking to make a difference.
