Botanical BashThe inaugural Botanical Bash will be a lively cocktail-style party open to the public to enjoy food, drinks, games, and a digital auction experience.

Buffalo, NY – The Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens announced that their annual fundraiser will now be twice the fun. Botanical Bash is a new event that reimagined their long-standing formal annual Gala at the Gardens. This lively cocktail-style party with fun games, food, drinks, a DJ and more will take place on September 20 and September 27 from 6:00pm to 10:00pm. Ticket buyers will have their choice of dates. The Botanical Gardens' organizers say it's a 'a good time for a great cause.'

The inaugural Botanical Bash will bring together members of the community to partake in games, food and drinks, musical entertainment, and a digital silent auction experience to support the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens' mission. Games like 'Botanical Bowling,' a 'Wonder Wheel', and 'Plant Plinko' will invite guests to win prizes for some added fun. Attendees will have the chance to purchase vouchers to play and redeem 'Botanical Bucks' for prizes at the end of the night. Food and drinks will be provided by the Botanical Gardens' catering partners: Buffalo Bubble Bar, Buffalo Catering Company, Curly's Grille, Fat Bob's, Salvatore's Hospitality, and The Grazeful Gatherer. An open bar and food stations will be set up throughout the conservatory to encourge guests to explore the tropical paradise inside the historic conservatory. Entertainment will be provided on both nights featuring The Record DJ Co on Friday, September 20 and H&H Entertainment on Friday, September 27. Guests will also be treated to a special appearance from a talented stilt walker that will be wandering through the greenhouses. Throughout the night guests are invited to participate in the silent auction, which will be managed through a digital platform for a simplified bidding experience. The silent auction will feature impressive packages with a wide range of interests and price points.

"Our Botanical Bash is taking on a whole new approach that really puts the 'fun' in fundraising. We are excited to invite the public to enjoy a night of entertainment and delicious food and drinks in a way that is fulfilling for guests to know that their time well spent is supporting a great cause," said President and CEO, Mark Mortenson.

Attendees as well as the general public are also invited to contribute to the annual Mission Project, which raises funds for a particular project. This year's Mission Project is raising funds to support the creation of interactive and educational exhibits that will be added to the soon-to-be newly renovated play space for kids and families. Contributions to the Mission Project can be made at any time online before, during, and after the event.

Tickets include an open bar, a delicious cocktail party style meal, desserts, music and entertainment, opportunity to play games, dancing, a digital auction experience, valet parking and more. Tickets are $150 per person or $290 for a pair and can be purchased online at buffalogardens.com
