February 23–24
Canandaigua, NY – Bristol Mountain proudly hosted the New York State Skiing Championship on February 23 and 24, welcoming top high school Alpine and Nordic athletes from across the state for two days of elite competition on its nationally recognized slopes.
The championship brought together the best skiers in New York to compete in Alpine and Nordic events, showcasing exceptional talent, sportsmanship, and dedication. With ideal winter conditions and a well-prepared race surface, athletes were able to perform at their highest level on one of the premier racing venues in the Northeast.
“We were honored to host this year’s State Skiing Championship,” said Dan Fuller. “Bristol Mountain has a long tradition of supporting competitive Alpine racing and Nordic skiing, it was exciting to see so many talented student-athletes competing at such a high level.”
The event drew athletes, coaches, families, and spectators from across New York, contributing to a vibrant atmosphere both on the mountain and throughout the surrounding community. Hosting the championship highlights Bristol Mountain’s continued commitment to youth athletics and its role as a leading winter sports destination.
