Bronx Night MarketBronx, NY — The Bronx Night Market, a cultural cornerstone of the borough and a national model for inclusive food festivals, is officially winding down. With only four events remaining, including the next on Saturday, July 26, this final season marks the end of an era — but not the end of the mission.

Since launching in 2017, the Bronx Night Market has welcomed over one million guests, empowered more than 1,200 vendors, and become a home for local flavor, music, and identity at Fordham Plaza. What started as a small, bold idea turned into one of the most influential cultural events in New York City.

“Eight years ago, we brought tents, beats, and big dreams to Fordham Plaza,” said Marco Shalma, founder of MASC Hospitality Group. “We created a space that belonged to the people, especially those too often left out of the spotlight. Now, we’re closing this chapter with gratitude and gearing up for something even more meaningful.”

While the market is sunsetting, the team behind it is not stepping away. MASC Hospitality Group is currently developing a larger, more permanent vision for the Bronx — a space and platform that honors the same values but on a year-round, legacy-building scale. That new initiative will be announced in Fall 2025.

The remaining events — July 26, August 30, September 27, and October 25 — will feature a mix of returning vendors, special performances, and tributes to the market’s unforgettable run.

The Bronx Night Market isn’t just going out — it’s leveling up.
