Cape Vincent OktoberfestCape Vincent, N.Y. - The Cape Vincent Chamber of Commerce will host its 17th annual Oktoberfest in downtown Cape Vincent on the Village Green. The event takes place September 27th starting at 12pm and ending at 5pm. Attendees can look forward to German Music by DJ Vito, a Lederhosen & Dirndl Contest, German Dance Contest, Live Music by Gridlock 3pm-5pm, and making its comeback this year - a Kids Zone.

Preceding the event is a 2 mile Volksmarch at 10am. Participation gives families priority entrance to Oktoberfest. A Volksmarch, a German term for "people's march," is a non-competitive, self-paced fitness walk.

Cape Vincent’s Oktoberfest is open to all, with general admission providing access to music, German cuisine catered by a local restaurant, and pretzels, hot dogs & hamburgers sold by Cape Vincent Fire Department. Admission to the Beer & Wine Garden comes with a commemorative Oktoberfest mug and free samples from vendors.
