Mumford, N.Y. – Genesee Country Village & Museum welcomes visitors to a truly sweet event – the Celebrating Chocolate Week (Wednesday, July 10 – Sunday, July 14). Sample both sweet and savory recipes throughout the 19th-century Historic Village, learn about early uses of chocolate, watch cooking demonstrations, take a pop-up baking class, enjoy a 19th-century beverage and hand pie from the Hosmer’s Inn Taproom, learn from local chocolatiers like Laughing Gull Chocolates, shop historical sweets and baked goods in the D.B. Munger Confectionery, and more. Tickets are on sale now at https://www.gcv.org/event/celebrating-chocolate-weekend/

HOW: Tickets for Celebrating Chocolate Week are currently available online https://www.gcv.org/event/celebrating-chocolate-weekend/. Purchasing tickets in advance is recommended to get the early bird discount – there will be a small additional fee for tickets purchased day-of at the door and online. Chocolate Week tickets are $18 for adults, $16 for seniors (62+), $16 for students (13 – 18), $12 for youth (12 and under), and children under 2 are free. Museum Members can attend Chocolate Week for FREE and can bring up to two guests for free.
