Mumford, N.Y. – Genesee Country Village & Museum welcomes visitors to a truly sweet event – the Celebrating Chocolate Week (Wednesday, July 10 – Sunday, July 14). Sample both sweet and savory recipes throughout the 19th-century Historic Village, learn about early uses of chocolate, watch cooking demonstrations, take a pop-up baking class, enjoy a 19th-century beverage and hand pie from the Hosmer’s Inn Taproom, learn from local chocolatiers like Laughing Gull Chocolates, shop historical sweets and baked goods in the D.B. HOW: Tickets for Celebrating Chocolate Week are currently available online https://www.gcv.org/event/celebrating-chocolate-weekend/. Purchasing tickets in advance is recommended to get the early bird discount – there will be a small additional fee for tickets purchased day-of at the door and online. Chocolate Week tickets are $18 for adults, $16 for seniors (62+), $16 for students (13 – 18), $12 for youth (12 and under), and children under 2 are free. Museum Members can attend Chocolate Week for FREE and can bring up to two guests for free.
