Here are just some of the holiday events welcoming the new year in Orange County:

  • New Year's Eve-Eve Party @ Dogwood Acres Family Farm (Dec. 30)
    • 749 Route 17M, Middletown, N.Y. 10940
    • Start the celebration early – the day before New Year’s Eve – with music spun by DJ Echo and a ball drop at 8 p.m. with fireworks and a drone show for a spectacular end to 2025. Also included: unlimited Marshmallow Cannon and Dogwood Express rides. The event is also the final day of the farm’s Winter Wonderland. Families will enjoy more than 40 attractions, including wagon rides through the lights, bounce houses, games, holiday movies, slingshot cornhole, farm animals and peddle carts.
    • 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.

  • New Year’s Eve Masquerade Party @ Pennings Farm and Orchard (Dec. 31)

    • Pennings will level up the music, bold energy and legendary New Year’s Eve KegDrop countdown with a full-blown masquerade party. Expect costumes, pageantry and pure musical mischief from the funky, theatrical sets of the New Orleans-inspired Uncle Shoehorn band. Come dressed in your best elevated New Year’s Eve look — masks, polished attire, semi-formal or comfortable-but-stylish. The kitchen will be open through 8:30 p.m., so come early, enjoy dinner, and fuel up for the night.

  • New Year's Eve: Ball Drops All Day @ Quinnz Pinz (Dec. 31)

    • The New Year’s Eve ball drops not just once but throughout the day at the bowling alley and amusement center. The main event caps each of four shifts at Quinnz Pinz, creating a day that’s perfect for families who want to celebrate early or keep the party going all night. Pick the time that fits your crew best, bowl, celebrate and enjoy the countdown all day long:
      • 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
      • 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
      • 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.
      • 9 p.m. - midnight (ball drop + party continues in the bar at The District Sports Lounge).
