Here are just some of the holiday events welcoming the new year in Orange County:

• New Year's Eve-Eve Party @ Dogwood Acres Family Farm (Dec. 30)
  • 749 Route 17M, Middletown, N.Y. 10940
  • Start the celebration early – the day before New Year’s Eve – with music spun by DJ Echo and a ball drop at 8 p.m. with fireworks and a drone show for a spectacular end to 2025. Also included: unlimited Marshmallow Cannon and Dogwood Express rides. The event is also the final day of the farm’s Winter Wonderland. Families will enjoy more than 40 attractions, including wagon rides through the lights, bounce houses, games, holiday movies, slingshot cornhole, farm animals and peddle carts.

  • Join a bricktastic New Year's Eve celebration. Watch the LEGO ball drop at 4:45 p.m. by the LEGO Christmas tree near the park entrance. LEGOLAND hotel guests ring in the new year with the New Year's Eve Dance Party at 8:30 p.m. in the hotel lobby, followed by a balloon drop at 8:45 p.m.
