Saratoga Springs, NY (February 14, 2025) — The Frances Young Tang Teaching Museum and Art Gallery at Skidmore College invites the public to attend the first Curator’s Tour of the season. Dayton Director Ian Berry leads a tour of the new exhibition a field of bloom and hum on Thursday, Feb. 27, at noon. The exhibition, which opens today and fills both floors of the museum, celebrates queer art, identities, and community-building over the past 100 years through the work of more than 150 artists. Berry organized the exhibition in collaboration with collaboration with artists and Skidmore faculty.
The Tang’s series of curator’s tours offer visitors in-depth access to the ideas and decisions behind its exhibitions.

Tang Guides, who are members of the Museum’s front-line staff, provides tours every Sunday from February 16 through May 4.
All tours, which are free and open to the public, provide visitors unique perspectives on our exhibitions as well as the museum.
