Syracuse, NY (January 11, 2024) – Destiny USA is thrilled to announce the upcoming CNY Folksmarch event on January 13 and 14, offering an opportunity for individuals of all ages and abilities to kickstart their New Year on a healthy note. Organized by the non-profit organization, CNY Folksmarch, this monthly walking club invites participants to join the festivities at Destiny USA, with walks taking place on both Saturday, January 13, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, and Sunday, January 14, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
The CNY Folksmarch is a volunteer-driven initiative that promotes physical well-being through the simple joy of walking. Participants can choose between a stroll inside the expansive Destiny USA mall or a refreshing outdoor walk along the Onondaga Creekwalk. Whether rain or shine, individuals are encouraged to embrace the invigorating start to the New Year at their preferred pace.

Registration for the event will be held in the Canyon at Destiny USA, on Saturday, January 13 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, and Sunday, January 14, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. The cost of participation is $4.00 per adult, $1.00 for children aged 6 to 18, and first-time walkers can join the event for free. For those looking to make walking a regular part of their routine, an annual pass is available for $40.00, offering two months of complimentary walks.
