Sullivan Catskills Visitors Association SCVAA Weekend-Long Pride Event with Performances by RuPaul’s Drag Race Stars, Cocktail Reception, Brunch, and More!

Sullivan Catskills, NY – The Sullivan Catskills are about to get a whole lot more fabulous as they play host to a groundbreaking celebration to kick off summer and celebrate Pride Month this June. "Drag Me to the Catskills" is set to dazzle attendees with a weekend-long extravaganza featuring drag queens, performances, and a vibrant display of LGBTQ+ pride.

Scheduled to take place from June 14-16, this inaugural event marks a significant milestone in the Catskills' cultural landscape, bringing together communities to embrace love, acceptance, and self-expression.

Organized by Sullivan Catskills Visitors Association in collaboration with Up&Out NY, Drag Me to the Stage, The Forestburgh Playhouse, and community partners, "Drag Me to the Catskills" promises to be a one-of-a-kind experience. Attendees can look forward to a lineup of performances by some of the most talented drag queens from across the country—Mrs. Kasha Davis, Darienne Lake, Acid Betty, Thorgy Thor, Aggy Dune and Ambrosia Salad.

Throughout the weekend, participants will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a variety of activities, including drag shows, dance parties, brunch, and more. The weekend gets underway with "There's Always Time for a Cocktail" with Mrs. Kasha Davis at the Forestburgh Playhouse at 8 p.m. Then on Saturday, June 15, have fun poolside at the Get Wet Pool Party at Callicoon Hills Resort, hosted by Up & Out from 12-4 p.m. Bring the kids to a free Story Hour on Saturday morning hosted by Catskills Pride featuring Mrs. Kasha Davis at the Hurleyville Performing Arts Centre. Later that evening, the Catskills Pride Awards Ceremony and Reception will be held at The Eldred Preserve, from 5:30-8:30 p.m., and the Queens of the Catskills Comedy Show will be at the Villa Roma at 8 p.m. And on Sunday, June 16 enjoy delicious bites and delectable performances at Drag Me To Brunch at the Forestburgh Playhouse at 11 a.m., followed by a Father's Day Tea Dance at Catskill Provisions that evening from 4-7 p.m.
