Lakeside Restaurant to Feature Weekend Specials & Live Music
Lake George, N.Y. (September 1, 2026) — Due to the forecast for inclement weather, Fort William Henry has made the decision to cancel its Pig Roast & BBQ Fest, originally scheduled for Thursday, September 3.
While the outdoor celebration will no longer take place, guests will still have an opportunity to enjoy a taste of the event. The Lakeside Restaurant & Lounge will be featuring special dishes utilizing the roast pig, giving diners another way to enjoy some of the flavors originally planned for the Pig Roast starting Friday at 4 PM.
Guests can also enjoy two nights of live music at the Lakeside over Labor Day weekend:
Friday, September 4: Joe DeFelice, 6–9 PM
Sunday, September 6: Andy Scott, 6–9 PM
Andy Scott was originally scheduled to perform during the Pig Roast and will now bring his live performance indoors to the Lakeside on Sunday evening.
Fort William Henry invites locals and visitors to stop by, enjoy the special menu offerings, live music, and beautiful views of Lake George throughout the holiday weekend.

The Lakeside Restaurant & Lounge is open for breakfast daily 7am to 11am, and dinner Wednesday through Sunday 4pm to 9pm. Free Parking is available for guests in the North Lot of the Fort William Henry Hotel at 48 Canada Street, Lake George, NY 12845.
