Lake George, NY (April 2026) — Fort William Henry Hotel invites guests to experience the outdoors like never before at its 1st Annual Sportsman’s Game Dinner, taking place Sunday, April 26, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Carriage House in Lake George.
This one-of-a-kind evening brings together hunters, anglers, and outdoor enthusiasts for a celebration of sportsman tradition, featuring a four-course game dinner, exciting raffles, live auctions, and exclusive prizes.
Prepared by the Fort William Henry culinary team, the evening’s menu showcases bold, rustic flavors inspired by the hunt, including:
- Warm duck confit salad
- Wild boar ribs
- Venison bolognese
- Norwegian apple pie with vanilla ice cream
Guests will also enjoy cocktail hour with passed hors d’oeuvres and the opportunity to browse and participate in raffles and games throughout the evening.
Gun raffles and prizes will be a highlight of the event, featuring an exciting assortment of firearms and specialty items, with select prizes provided in partnership with Friends of the NRA. All firearm prizes will be distributed through a licensed dealer in accordance with New York State law.
Guests who reserve a full table of eight will be designated as Table Captains and entered into a special drawing for an exclusive firearm prize.
Proceeds from raffles will benefit the Freedom Action Foundation, supporting initiatives that advance constitutional freedoms and civic engagement nationwide.

$120 per person or $880 for a Captain’s Table
Tickets must be purchased in advance.

As an added bonus, all event attendees will receive a complimentary overnight stay at the Fort William Henry Hotel on the night of the event. Guests may call the front desk with their confirmation number to reserve accommodations.
