Albany, NY – The Friends of Schuyler Mansion and Discover Albany are hosting “History Happy Hour: Revisit the Revolution” on Thursday, September 3, 2026 from 5:00-7:00pm at Schuyler Mansion State Historic Site. Mingle with history enthusiasts while enjoying a selection of local beer, 18th century punch (with or without alcohol), and hors d'oeuvres. Play the part of a spy during the Revolutionary War – search the mansion for clues, solve the cypher, and deliver secret intelligence to Major General Philip Schuyler and his daughter Angelica.
“History Happy Hour” will be held in the Schuyler Mansion gardens at 32 Catherine Street Albany, NY 12202 and the mansion will be open for guests to solve the spy caper. Tickets are $20 ($25 at the door) and can be purchased at https://parks.ny.gov/visit/events/history-happy-hour-revisit-revolution. This is a 21+ only event.

The event is a partnership between the Friends of Schuyler Mansion, Discover Albany and Schuyler Mansion State Historic Site. The Friends of Schuyler Mansion supports the historic site through educational and community programs and conservation and restoration projects.
