Hudson, NY (May 14, 2025) — Hudson Hall at the historic Hudson Opera House announces events in its Summer and Fall 2025 season, featuring an eclectic lineup of music, performance, visual art, and community programs. The season is anchored by the preview performance of What is Your Hand in This?, a provocative collaboration between baritone Davóne Tines and early music ensemble Ruckus; a rare U.S. appearance by Icelandic experimental pop band múm; and the premiere of Hudson Terminus, a new interdisciplinary installation and performance series by choreographer and visual artist Jon Kinzel as part of the 2025 Upstate Art Weekend.

Additional highlights include From the Hooghly to the Hudson, a cross-cultural concert connecting Bengali folk music to the Hudson River composed by Eric Fraser; a Pride Month screening of the cult drag documentary Wigstock: The Movie hosted by Trixie Starr; a poetry and book launch with Richard Milazzo and Daniel Rothbart; a free culminating concert from the Hudson Jazz Workshop; a four-day improvisation masterclass led by composer and drummer Bobby Previte, and Hudson Hall’s annual fundraising gala honoring Executive Director Tambra Dillon, who steps down this fall after 13 years of service.

Located in a historic landmark that houses New York State’s oldest surviving theater, Hudson Hall underwent full restoration and reopened to the public in April 2017 for the first time in over 55 years.
